Teciem has joined the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) as a Silver End User Member. Our decision to join reflects how we build our treasury and capital markets solutions, and what we want to deliver to the financial institutions that we serve.
Treasury and capital markets systems are among the most demanding in the software industry. They process real financial value, they operate under strict regulatory requirements, and they must remain correct and available at all times. That bar defines everything we build, and it shapes how we approach modernisation.
Cloud-native technology serves that bar directly. In treasury and capital markets, its value lies in the ability to evolve core financial systems safely, with the observability and control that let institutions adopt change with confidence. This is how a software provider keeps improving a platform that clients depend on every day, while preserving the stability their business requires.
We are joining as an end user, because we build and operate these workloads ourselves. Membership lets us learn from organisations running systems at scale, and lets us contribute a perspective the community values: delivering software in highly regulated financial environments, where the questions raised are often different from those encountered elsewhere. Segregation of duties, record-keeping, and fully auditable change are not edge cases in our domain, they are the baseline.
We are re-engineering our Treasury and Capital Markets solutions around cloud-native principles, progressively and with intent, because that is how lasting change is achieved in systems of this importance. In practice, we build on the open foundations the community has converged on: Kubernetes for orchestration and portability across environments; OpenTelemetry, Prometheus and Grafana for the observability that gives operations teams real-time insight into a critical platform; and declarative, GitOps-based delivery, so that changes are versioned, auditable and reproducible. In regulated finance, that reproducibility matters as much as performance does.
We are also investing in our people. Members of our engineering teams are earning recognised CNCF certifications, including the Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), so that the expertise behind our solutions keeps pace with the technology itself. Building on this foundation, our CNCF engagement sets us on the path towards Kubernetes conformance for our platform, giving clients the assurance of a standardised, interoperable environment they can rely on. As the ecosystem defines new conformance standards, including for AI workloads, our engagement keeps us close to that work.
Cloud-native technologies continue to evolve quickly. Active participation in the CNCF ecosystem keeps Teciem aligned with emerging patterns, implementation practices, and the project communities defining current standards, so that our decisions stay informed by the wider field.
For the institutions we serve, this means the systems they already rely on can evolve with the technology, gaining the scalability and resilience of modern infrastructure while preserving the discipline their business demands. In our domain, the greatest contribution of cloud-native technology is the confidence to make critical systems better over time.
