A global technology leader, Wissam has over 25 years of experience working with global financial institutions, leading them through digital transformation and industry change. He is passionate about diversity and inclusion and creating a culture where everyone is empowered to achieve their professional and personal aspirations.

Wissam has an outstanding track record as a senior executive, having led the Finastra Group growth strategy across EMEA and APAC regions, and acted as Managing Director for Finastra’s Middle East and Africa operations. More recently, as EVP of the Treasury & Capital Markets division within Finastra, Wissam has overseen its divestment and independence to become Teciem, continuing his leading role as CEO.

Before Finastra, Wissam was Managing Director for the Middle East and Africa at FIS, a global financial software provider, where he grew the business and established offices in the UAE, KSA, Turkey, South Africa, Kenya and Pakistan. He also spent eight years as a solution practice manager at Reuters Limited, as well as establishing the Misys Middle East local Treasury and Capital Markets business as a Regional Manager.

Wissam has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from New York University – Leonard N. Stern School of Business, London School of Economics and Political Science, and HEC Paris. He holds a BBA in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut and is a certified Financial Risk Manager with the Global Association of Risk Professionals.
